Margaret Haas Reinfried, 94

Margaret Haas Reinfried, 94, of Lancaster, died Saturday morning at St. Anne’s Retirement Community.

She was the wife of the late Alfred P. Reinfried who died in 1953. Born in Lancaster, Margaret was the daughter of the late Jacob P. and Rose Kunkel Hass.

She was employed as a dental assistant for the late Dr. A.J. Lowell, Jr. of Lancaster for 15 years, and also worked for the Buddy Dale Hat Store, The Kiddie Shop, and Watt and Shand.

She attended Sacred Heart Academy and was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.She was a member of International Federation of Catholic Alumnae and Holy Cross Alumni.

Margaret is survived by her son Robert P.  husband of Bonnie D. Reinfried of Hedgesville, WV; a niece Regina, wife of the late Dave Davies, Lancaster; a nephew Tom husband of Joanne Lowell,Lancaster, including grand-nieces and nephews, and extended family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bergen. She was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Lowell and a brother-in-law Dr. A.J. Lowell, Jr.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 11 from 11AM-Noon at St. Anne’s Retirement Community Chapel, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia, PA 17512, with the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Noon. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to St. Anne’s Retirement Community or to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 W.
