Margaret H. Deck, 83
Margaret H. Deck, 83 of Lancaster, died Saturday, January 12, 2008, under the care of Hospice at her son’s home in Chalfont, PA.
Born in New Brunswick, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Leo A. and Lillian M. O’ Connell Henry. Margaret was the wife of the late Harry W. Deck, who died May 1, 1987. She was a homemaker and previously worked for RCA as a secretary. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. She liked to travel with her husband and family. She had a love of dogs.
Surviving are two sons, Harry W. Deck Jr. of Lancaster, Gary L. husband of Christine Deck, Chalfont, PA., one sister, Winifred Seiferling of East Brunswick, N. J. Margaret was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Malazzo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Anne’s Catholic Church, on North Duke and Liberty Streets, Lancaster on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 11:00AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church on Thursday from 10:00-11:00AM. Flowers will be received or contributions may be made in Margaret’s memory to St Anne’s Catholic Church, 929 North Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Arrangements made by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Lancaster 393-9661.
