Dear Jeanette, Beth, and Ken, I remember Margy and our Bible studies with little ones playing nearby! I am 92 years old now and I can still see her lovely face and hear her sweet voice and gentle laughter. Those days in Drumore as farmers’ wives! How wonderful! She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart. And to think that she is now with Him in Glory! With deepest Sympathy, Janet (McSparran) Ressler

Aunt Margie is the embodiment of love and grace. Always kind, loving and honest. Truly one of the best humans I have ever known.

Dear Margie was such a sweet blessing in my life. She often inspired me with wise words of encouragement, spoken thoughtfully. She faced life’s challenges with grace, and modeled what it looks like to love Jesus and love others well. In my young married years, she taught our Sunday School class — what a sweet gift to have her influence in our lives during that season. When my kids were little, we often sat next to her parents in church (where my 3 year old would share Smarties with Dave) so it was typical for her to share a kind word with us each week, say something kind to our sons, etc. I always enjoyed her piano playing. There was a season in which I was the director of our small church orchestra. She was the faithful pianist. The role was a stretch for me, so her encouragement was a much needed blessing to me! After my mother’s passing 10 years ago, I felt the loss of my mom’s encouraging words. It wasn’t unusual for Margie to post encouraging comments on my Facebook posts, a blessing that helped to fill the loss of my own mom’s encouragement.

I learn best by being SHOWN how to do something. (Perhaps we all do.) She modeled well how to love others with kindness and grace. I’m so grateful for people like her in my life. I’ll miss her!

Dear Kenny, Jeanette, and Beth Ann (your names as I knew you),
May God comfort you in the passing of your wonderful and beautiful mother.
I have many wonderful memories of our times together in our childhood.  The last time that I saw you was at your Grandpa Benner’s viewing.  Your mother was so pleased that I came that she kissed me.  🙂
I also knew your Uncle Clair and Aunt Grace from our years together in Gainesville, FL.
Love in Christ,
Marlin Eby
