Margaret C. Madonna, 91

Margaret C. Madonna, 91, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at LRMC. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Veto and Theresa (Corradino) Madonna. Margaret enjoyed crocheting, crafts, sewing, and playing the piano. She was a part of the Neapolitan Strings, an Italian string band, featured on WGAL. She was a member of St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her six sisters, Elizabeth Catrambone, Mary Rose, Jennie Martell, Rose DiMartino, Grace Madonna and Susan Madonna and also a brother, Samuel Madonna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may view at the church between 10 and 11AM.
