Margaret C. Anthon, 93
Margaret C. Anthon, 93, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Willow Valley Retirement Community, where she resided.
Margaret was the wife of the late George G. Anthon, who died in 1992. They were married for 56 years. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late James Paul and the late Catherine Chouba Paul.
Margaret managed the gift shop at the Eden Resort Inn for 16 years. She thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and the many relationships she created by working at the shop.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, and was known for sharing her cookbooks and recipes.
Margaret was a talented pianist when she was younger, and started playing again in her late 70s. “Mimi,” the name her grandchildren called her, loved traveling and vacationing with them.
Margaret is survived by a son, Drew G. Anthon, husband of Joyce E. of Lancaster; and three grandchildren, Dionne E. Anthon, Dean G. Anthon, and Aaron T. Anthon.
