Sweet Maida! When you hear the saying, friends who are family, Maida was family to us. During her childhood, she lived on & off at my mother’s home. Mom had one sister, but they always considered Maida their other sister. Years of laughter & fun were had by the three of them. They were all excellent skaters & gymnasts. My Mom passed away last November at 102. She & Maida remained close friends right up to her passing. They called each other to keep in touch & the phone calls were priceless. On Mom’s 100th. birthday, Maida sent my mother 100 blessings, hand written! They truly don’t make em’ like these amazing gal’s anymore. They have all left a legacy of love & strength to be admired. May you rest in peace sweet Maida. Always in my heart.❤️
