M. Kenneth Warfel, 90
M. Kenneth Warfel, 90, of 3001 Lititz Pike , Lancaster, PA, died Monday at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center.
Born in Peach Bottom, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Curtis and Bessie Brown Warfel. Kenneth was the husband of the late Vivian Larue Husson Warfel.
Mr. Warfel was a chemist with Armstrong World Industries for 43 years and retired in 1980. During World War II, he was a Merchant Marines and a graduate of Elizabethtown College. His memberships included the First Church of God of Lancaster and Masonic Lodge #43, Harrisburg Consistory. He enjoyed flying and was a pilot for 50 years.
Surviving is a daughter, Jean Stevens of Lititz, and two grandchildren: Joshua Stevens and Jess Stevens of Lititz.
Funeral Services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Friday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Donald Price. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 AM. Please omit flowers; contributions may be made in Kenneth’s memory to Camp Yolijwa, c/o First Church of God, 344 W.
