Lydia M. Milburn, 78
Lydia M. (Taggert) Milburn, 78, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 24th, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Fairfield PA, she was the daughter of late Harry Edward and Mary Ellen (Smith) Taggert. Lydia was the wife of the late Robert P. Milburn.
Mrs. Milburn was employed by RCA and made tubes for 49 years. She was a member of Crossroads Mennonite Church.
Surviving are two daughters Rose, married to Leroy Dupree and Margaret Milburn both of Lancaster, fourteen grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, three sisters, Agnes Owen, Dorothy Hayward, Laura, married to Charles Grey all of Lancaster, one brother, Howard I. Taggert of Lancaster. Lydia was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Charles Milburn.
Services will be held on Saturday May 31st, 2008 at the Crossroads Mennonite Church 420 South Christian Street, Lancaster, PA. 17602 at 11AM. There will be a viewing at the church from 10AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements by the Charles F. my condolences go out to your family miss lydia will be miss she was a very nice lady sweet lady i am going to really miss her a whole lot she always treated me like a person she always made me feel comfortable she treated me like family. So sorry we missed the funeral. We sincerely wanted to be there. We love and miss her dearly. She will always be in our memories and our hearts forever. she was a wonderful and loving, kind hearted person. Our only regret is not spending MORE time with her.
