I met Luther when we served with the MS Society. He was always ready and able to help others. Luther also worked to settle the cold case of the murder of my godmother, Mary Swarr, and her brother Jim. I will always be grateful for Luther’s friendship and his loving energy he conveyed in a gentlemanly fashion. Godspeed to you, dear friend.

I am so sorry I could not attend service. There was only one Luther. The owner of wheatland in at that time asked if I would like to mc a local Gong show. Ron picked me up and we met to see how we could do this. Luther was there and we became real buddys. It was lukes idea to raise money for MS. I did a pretty good chuck Barris. Did you know Luther could sing, play harmonica and guitar!?! I named him “Lively Luke,” and he was great !!!!!! I will never forget that show. I still have paper clippings of that night. I forgot to mention the year we did this (1978 or 79) We had so much fun. Luther was and still is one of the finest Men I’ve ever met. I will Miss you forever.
Blessings, Jeff B. Rittenhouse
