Lucille D. Thomas, 91
Lucille D. Thomas, 91, went to be with The Lord on Sunday evening at the Mennonite Home where she had been a resident.
Lucille was the wife of the late Harry S. Thomas, who died in 1971. Born in Clarksburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Argires Diamantoni.
She had worked as a waitress for Jim’s Café for over 20 years.
Lucille was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, where she had served as the secretary of the Philoptochos Society.
She is survived by 2 sons: Michael Thomas, husband of LaVon, of Akron, OH and Tom Thomas husband of Sheila H., of Lancaster; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a sister, Connie married to Thomas Mimidis of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Diamond and a sister, Gertie Diamantoni.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 10-11AM at the Annunication Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603, with the funeral service to follow at 11AM, the Rev.Alexander Goussetis officiating. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lucille’s memory to the Philioptochos Society c/o Annunciation Orthodox Church, or to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, Inc., Lititz, PA. 560-5100.
