Lorraine S. Perez-Florian, 77

Lorraine S. Perez-Florian, 77, of Willow Street, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, PA, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Cecil (Landis) and Robert H. Drake.
Prior to retirement Lorraine worked for over 25 years as a lead packer at Anderson Bakery. In her free time, Lorraine enjoyed several hobbies that brought her peace and contentment. She was an devoted bingo player. She also loved visiting the beach, often spending hours collecting shells, which she cherished as tiny treasures. Additionally, Lorraine had a unique and endearing collection of frogs and Wade Ceramics, which she displayed with pride in her home.
Lorraine was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children Augustina P. Sorensen (Doug) of Holtwood, PA, and Julio A. Perez, Jr. (April) of Conestoga, PA. Lorraine’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Mark Perez, Jr., Bo Perez, Carrianne Perez, Sarah Perez, Nicole Anderson, Brandon Sorensen, Haley Perez, Emily Perez, Julia Aukamp, and Sylvia Perez. She was also the proud great-grandmother of 13 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and were a constant source of love and laughter in her life. She was preceded in death by her sons: Mark Perez, Sr. and Andy Perez.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Lorraine’s life will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Family and friends will be received from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
In honor of Lorraine’s love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.T.S Clinic, a cause close to her heart.
While Lorraine is no longer with us, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity, and the unconditional love she shared with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
