Condolences to the Family

October 18, 2019

I am sending condolences from Clearwater, Florida.  My life intersected Lisa’s because of a mutual friend, Jane Longwell.  I was drawn to Lisa because of the caring and compassion that she showed our friend Jane.  We remained in loose contact after Jane passed away and I prayed for her as she battled cancer.  She spoke lovingly of her family and I know your hearts are aching to be without her.  I have no doubt that she is celebrating in heaven.  Peace be with you.

I am so sorry to hear about Lisa’s passing.  I played softball with her for many years on the Fulton Bar softball team.  Had a lot of memories and fun playing ball.  We used to call her “Clink”  because of the sound her bat made when she hit the ball.  I hope you rest in peace Lisa.  I enjoyed our time together even though it was a long time ago.

Dear Jeff, Ron, James, Brandon and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Lisa and I have known each other since 5th grade, when we played softball for East Lampeter, then graduated from CVHS in ’81 together.  She was a special loving person, full of life, compassion and laughter.  She was a fighter, for sure! Rest in Peace, Lisa, no more pain, suffering, sorrow or tears.May God’s peace and Comfort be yours during this most difficult time.  We will miss her!!!

Lisa was a great cousin to the Shamokin branch of the family, where her dad grew up. She visited Aunt Ruth as often as she could and treasured the link to her parents. We know that she fought hard to stay with her boys (Jeff you are included in that group!), and what an awesome job you all did in caring for her through it all. We will miss her upbeat attitude and fighting spirit.

condolences to Lisa’s family. She was a fighter for sure. She loved her husband and her boys and always talked about them. Lisa and i became very close in the short time we worked together. I know she’s now one of Gods angels and someday will see her again.

Jeffrey,
It is with extreme saddness that we read of Lisa’s passing.  We remembered her often in our prayers.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.  She was always pleasant and friendly when Mark and I would see her.  She always seemed to have a great attitude.  Even wearing bright green nail polish on St Patricks Day.  Your wonderful memories with Lisa will see you through.
Sincerely, Mark and Cindy Steffy

Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. Even though I did not know Lisa personally I know she was loved very deeply by her co-workers and friends. Visiting her in Hospice with my sister Laura, I could see and feel the love in the room by her children, brother and you. I do know that she and I had a similar passion for Flowers and anyone that loves nature as she did is a loving, compassionate person.
My deepest condolences.
