Linda L. Grimm-McDonald, 59

Linda L. Grimm-McDonald, 59, of Country Meadows Dr., Lancaster, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ray S. Grimm, Sr. and the late Victoria E. Victor Grimm. She was the wife of Robert S. McDonald and celebrated 43 wonderful years of marriage on July 6.

Linda was a kind and loving person. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her life was fulfilled when she was blessed with her two grandchildren, Hanna and Cole. Linda was a homemaker and volunteer for the March of Dimes and the Lung Association. She loved to cook, knit, and travel especially on cruises. She took pride in her family and will be lovingly missed by them and her many friends.

Surviving in addition her husband are her sons: Troy A. MacDonald, husband of DiDi McDonald of Lancaster, and their children, Hanna Kreiner McDonald and Cole Anthony McDonald, and Shane M. McDonald of Lancaster; her siblings: Ray S. Grimm, Jr., husband of Sandy Grimm, Peggy L. Frey, wife of Gerald Frey, Brenda McDonald, wife of Charles McDonald, and Dennis M. Grimm, husband of Betty Jo Grimm, all of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 414 E. King St., Lancaster, on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 1:00PM. Friends may be received at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment in Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604 or the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
