Linda Kay Garrison Jones, 68

October 28, 2024

Linda Kay Garrison Jones, 68, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2024. Born in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Barbara (McCarty) Rhodes. She was married 10 years to her beloved husband, Scott Jones.

Linda worked at one company her entire career – 42 years at Arconic where she operated the forklifts. She was extremely hardworking but always made time for her family. She adored her grandson and spent much time with him. Linda also had a passion for being at the beach, cooking, baking, and taking care of her animals. She was a born-again Christian, devout member of Calvary Chapel in Lebanon, and could often be found praying and reading her bible.

In addition to her husband Scott, she is survived by 2 children: Michael Garrison and Krystle Cassel (Dustin); grandson Cooper Garrison Cassel, and sister Sharan Rhodes. She was predeceased by 2 brothers: Frank Rhodes and Ricky “Butch” Rhodes.

Linda’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kerr and the entire care team. Their care and compassion did not go unnoticed and the family is forever grateful.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 3 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive guests beginning at 2 PM. Flowers are graciously accepted.

My deepest sympathy Linda was a great friend and neighbor.  We spent a lot of time together when we were young.  God Bless her and all the family.

My deepest sympathies to family and friends for your loss. We grew up together as neighbors and later worked for the same company on Manheim Pike. I always loved her smile and bubbly attitude.

I am so sorry for you all. I knew her for so much of my life out on scenic drive. She was a wonder woman and wife. Prayers for all of the family
