To the kindest, warmest, truest, giving woman I have ever known.   It’s been a, sometime, rough 734 some odd days, that I have had the pleasure of being able to spend at least 619 of those days letting you know that I was at least one of those, of many, who cared about, and was there for you.   I have learn much about life through knowing you Libby, and so long as you are in some one’s heart, as you are in mine, you will never be forgotten.   Your fight is over, and your life’s journey will now be rewarded.    Rest in peace and harmony.

With much love, from a real Friend Libby,
Woody (and Janet)

God blessed our world with the wonderful soul of Libby Mitchell.  I was acquainted with her from my visits to my parents in Lancaster Township.  I saw firsthand her many kindnesses toward her neighbors.  When my Dad was ill, she would visit my Mother and would always bring something for us.  I remember fondly seeing her on the bus to Walmart-she would always engage in coversation with me and would remember me; this despite the fact that I live in Massachusetts and could only visit Lancaster on a limited basis!  How blessed her family and neighbors are to have been graced by her caring and her love.  Without fanfare, she truly understood that life is a gift, and that love is the ultimate appreciation of this most precious gift.  God love you, Libby Mitchell, and thank you.  You will be missed and always remembered.
