Lewis R. Clinton, 76
Lewis R. Clinton, 76, of Lancaster, entered into rest on August 6, 2006 after an extended illness.
Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Lewis R. Clinton Sr. and Rebecca F. Banner Clinton. Lewis was the husband of Juliana J. Judith Clinton. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in February.
Lewis worked as an electrician for the Kellogg’s Co. from 1977-1994. Previously, he was employed at Penn Dairies.
Lewis enjoyed hunting, fishing, auto racing, bowling, and roller-skating. He was a member of the Strasburg Sportsman Assoc., Okome Rod and Gun Club, Lycoming County, and attended St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
Lewis served in the US Navy Air during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Jeffrey L., husband of Dawn Clinton of Lancaster; and Dwayne S., husband of Diane Clinton of Lititz; and two grandchildren, Alex and Rachel Clinton.
A funeral service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Friends may attend the viewing at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
