Leonard “Lenny” Walton, 67
Leonard “Lenny” Walton, 67, of 124 Locust Lane, New Providence, passed away on Sunday at Conestoga View.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert E. Walton Sr. and the late Kathryn H. Grams.
Leonard had worked as a tow motor operator for 27 years for the Alcoa Corporation, until his retirement in 1994.
He liked to collect model cars and fire engines, enjoyed word search puzzles and playing computer games.
He is survived by a son, Leonard Jr. married to Sharon Walton of Nancy, KY; 1 grandchild, Amanda Hummel; and a great grandchild, Brooke Hummel. He is also survived by 7 siblings: Betty M. Muckenthaler of Lancaster, Helen M. married to Donald Glatfelter of Peach Bottom, Robert E. Jr. married to Betty Walton of Fayetteville, NC, Richard D., Sr. married to Arlene Walton of Lancaster, Kathryn Dougherty of New Providence, Terry L married to Georgette Walton of Columbia, and Donald E. Walton of Willow Street. Leonard was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Walton and a brother Leroy Pennel.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 12Noon-1PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the funeral service to follow at 1PM.
