Laraine and I spent a lot of fun times together as teenagers. We worked together at the flower shop during those holiday rush times. Mr. Smith always ferried us back and forth to away football games. Enjoyed having dinner with her the last time I was in Lancaster. I hope fond memories will bring you moments of joy during this sorrowful time.

Fondly,
Mary Frances (Braun) Young

My thoughts are with Laraine’s Family at this time of loss and sadness.  I met Laraine in 1998 while working at Brossman Flower and Gift Shop. I admired her talent, passion, and ability when it came to designing floral arrangements. I somehow feel honored to be able to say that I still hang one of her Christmas swags on my front door every year. Laraine always spoke with such pride about her Family and it was obvious from the moment I met her that John, you were truly her "Best Friend".  I wish you comfort, healing, and peace and I hope that as time gently eases your grief, beautiful memories can restore the joy that has been taken from your hearts.

Sincerest Regards,
Sally Smith

Laraine’s untimely passing has left a hole in the lives of those who knew her and loved her. My thoughts and prayers continue to John her husband and her family. Keep her memory close to your heart.
