King Emmanuel Tolbert-Moore, 3, of York, PA, passed away at York Hospital on Friday, August 30, 2019. Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of Michel-le Tolbert and Marquis Moore, Sr.

King was an energetic child. He loved to sing and play outdoors. He enjoyed traveling and visiting his family. His favorite shows were Super Wings, Robocar Poli, and Bob’s Burgers. You could often find him playing with his friends, but mostly rough-housing with his best-friend, TJ. King loved cars, trains planes and anything that zoomed. He loved being the center of attention and loved to dance. King will be missed for his beautiful heart and genuine smile.

King is survived by his mother, Michel-le Tolbert; his father Marquis Moore, Sr.; his maternal grandmother Dana Leigh “Midjet” Tolbert-Massey (Darnell G. Massey); his maternal grandfather Willis Emmanuel Charles; his paternal grandfather Michael C. Clark; his uncle James Tolbert (Ashley Bevans) of Lancaster; his aunt Gloria Waters-Tolbert “Auntie Mama-Wowo” of Lancaster; his uncle John Tolbert of Lancaster; his aunt Dessire Tolbert of New Jersey; his aunt Azanna Charles of Philadelphia and his aunt Ezola Charles of Philadelphia; his cousins: Rome Tolbert-Jones, TJ Tolbert-Jones, Zhahir, Aniyah, Yashua, baby Allah, Nahshon, Savannah, Isabelle, Jeanalee; He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Donna R. Moore and his aunt Ityia Tolbert.

Funeral services will be held from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00am. Friends and family will be received from 10am until the time of service. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
