Kim L. Labiak, 65 of Mountville, PA, passed away in her home September 14, 2022. She was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Gerald and Molly Berghold.
She spent much of her career as a manager of Borders Bookstore and at the Walden’s in Hanover. Kim traveled and loved good food. She found great enjoyment in listening to music and reading. She also liked to knit. Kim loved her family and friends dearly.
Kim is survived by her husband, George Labiak of Mountville, with whom she spent 45 years of marriage with; her daughter Kate Broughman (Corey) of Lancaster; and her sons Johnathan Labiak (Tim) of Lewisberry, and Dylan Labiak (Gretel) of Lancaster; her sister Jan Carr (Barry); and two cats in the yard. Along with her parents, she is preceded in her passing by her brother Chris Berghold.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Kim was the sweetest person and I feel lucky to have been friends with her and the entire family for all of these years. I’ll especially miss the trips to Catonsville with her and George!

Kim was able to make everyone laugh. She had a great happy spirit. I remember her welcoming me to eat dinner many times. She was a great cook! I’m so sorry George, Jon, Kate, and Dylan.

Just wanted to tell you that I have so many happy memories with your wife/ mother. We raised little children together. Kim was a phenomenal woman ❤️
