Kenneth R. Watrous, Sr., 68
Kenneth R. Watrous, Sr., 68, of Gap, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Lancaster General Hospital. Ken and his wife Natalie D. Gilbert Watrous celebrated 40 years of marriage last October 29th. Born in Lebanon, NH, he was the son of the late Ralph H. and Mildred I. Preston Watrous.
Ken worked in sales for I. Goldberg & Company in Caln and then drove for the Amish in his retirement. He enjoyed playing cards, especially with his friends once a month, and his many trips to Atlantic City and Delaware Park.
Surviving in addition to his wife Natalie are 8 children, Ruby Marcocelli of Pittsburgh, Linda Clavier, wife of Eric of New Holland, Kenny Watrous, Jr. of Coatesville, Millie Marcocelli, wife of Mike of Coatesville, Greg Cumens, husband of Joy of Virginia, Doug Cumens of Pittsburgh, Ralph Watrous, II of Gap, and Sean Watrous of Gap; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and his faithful dog Snowball. Ken was preceded in death by his brother Eddie Loura.
A Viewing will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012, from 9-11 AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. Mr. Watrous was a very nice man, also funny, made me laugh every time I was over his house. I often thought about him from time to time and how funny he was, he is going to be very missed by me.
