Kenneth P. Johnson, 59

April 24, 2022

Kenneth Philip Johnson, 59, of Quarryville, passed away at home on Sunday, April 24, 2022. He was the loving husband of Jane Kay Johnson. Born in Enon, Ohio, he was the son of the late Philip Ezekiel Johnson and Patricia Ann (Jones/Johnson) Seigle.

Kenneth earned his Masters Degree in Instructional Systems Design from University of Maryland in 1992. He worked as Head of Sales Talent Development for D.B. Shenker and was the Founder and CEO of Cultivisor, Ltd. Ken’s favorite thing to do was spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed history, gardening, home improvement projects, nature, music, motorcycles, and doting on his Golden Retriever, Owen and his granddogs, Blu and Olive.

Kenneth was a Christian whose faith and devotion to service were a very important part of his life. He was known by all for his generosity and would always help out a friend in need. Above all, Kenneth was a loving husband and father and will be very much missed.

In addition to his wife, Jane, Kenneth is survived by his dearly loved daughter, Paige MacAulay Johnson and her partner David Leach; his sister-in-law, Joy Neubauer and her husband Ray; his sisters, Debbie Warnick, Kathy Deaton, and Kimberly Fackler; and his nephews, Jake Drnec and Brenten Megee. He was the devoted son-in-law of the late Walt and Ruth Heidecker.

Dear Jane, I was shocked to learn of your precious husband’s death. He was so young and had a bright future. Your family has had so many losses in such a short time. I am sure your parents welcomed him with open arms as did Jesus. I am at a loss for words but ask our Precious Comforter and Savior to wrap you and Paige in His loving arms. You will be in my prayers. Much love, Joan Troutman  Psalm 46 “God is our refuge and our strength…”

Pat and I are devastated at the loss of this very special man, our friend Ken. What a wonderful, kind, supportive, and genuine human being with a loving and Christian heart. We are still at a loss for words and sorrowful that he will no longer share this earth with all of us who knew him. Our hearts and prayers are with Jane and Paige, Owie, as they learn to walk on this earth without him. We know he is in God’s final resting place and he is at peace, but it is oh so hard for mere earthlings like us. Fly high, Ken, and watch over us all! Our love, Barb and Pat
