I had the pleasure of working with Kathy as a teenager at John Herr’s. We remained friends for a while and then life went adrift. I loved her smile, her laugh and her sense of humor. My thoughts prayers go out to all her family and friends. She was a wonderful person and will be missed dearly.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Kathy. However, I worked many years with Linda Witmer and I currently share an office with Joni Sweigart. Kathy now knows 100% for sure what the rest of can only hope! I will keep Kathy and the Witmer family in my prayers.

We have known Kathy for many years. Life wasn’t always easy for her, but she was content, and ready for a nice chat. We miss seeing her at John Herrs, where she always had some news to share and would ask about our family. We will remember how she enjoyed some gentle teasing, and the playful giggle that was uniquely hers.
Our prayers for peace and comfort go out to the family and friends that Kathy loved so dearly.
With our sympathy,
Kenny and Nancy Witmer

Kathy and I went to kindergarden together with our parents taking turns driving and we were classmates, graduating in 1973. We kept in touch over the years as she was always ready for the Penn Manor Class of 73 reunions and looked forward to seeing everyone. Somehow, she kept track of a lot of our classmates. Will miss you.
