Kathy A. Knoll, 73, of Lancaster, passed away on October 15, 2024. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alva and Bernice (Anderson) Knoll.
Kathy worked as a registered nurse for Hershey Medical Center, Lancaster General Hospital, and also in Buffalo. Kathy was known for her constant service to others, passion and advocacy for all animals, and being extremely warmhearted. Kathy was predeceased by her entire family, including her parents and her sister Susan M. Knoll. She is survived by her best-friend Amanda Mellinger, and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Kathy’s name to Pet Pantry of Lancaster County, 26 Millersville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603, or to SPCA Lancaster, 848 S. Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603.

We’ve been friends for years and we’ve had a lot of good times and not so good times. I was always happy with being your sponsor. I felt your pain to her conversations over the phone and I know at this point that your young again and healthy again and running around with Sue and the rest of your bunch. Tell Michael and Gina that we all say hello and send our love. Give Rick a big kiss and a hug for me would you please. I will miss you and love you forever Kathy
