Kathy A. Breneman, 57
Kathy A. Breneman, 57, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at her home in Lititz. She celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary with her husband Frank R. Breneman last February. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late George and Joan R. Mellott Crawford.
Kathy graduated from Ephrata High School in 1970. She worked as a seamstress for 20 years, was a parent mentor for the Lancaster County Children & Youth Agency, operated an in home day care center for 10 years and along with her husband she was a foster parent to 40 children for 15 years. Kathy loved to go camping and fishing and spending time with her family. She was a member of Lititz Wesleyan Church
Surviving in addition to her husband Frank are six daughters: Jessica, Erin, Jonessa, Anna, Alyssa and Selena, 15 grandchildren, her brother Jake Crawford and many foster children that Kathy adored. Her brother Sam Grace preceded Kathy in death.
A Visitation will take place on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 6-7 PM, followed by the Memorial Service at 7 PM with Pastor Dan Cloyd officiating, both at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Chapel, Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Private Interment took place in Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Kathy’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125. Dear Frank and Family- What a joy it was to know Kathy! I enjoyed having her in our Church, and had some good times and great talks together. I know she will truly be missed by many people. Sorry that we will be unable to attend the service. You will be in our thoughts and prayers!
