Jerry and I are saddened to discover that your mom passed away. We always touched base with one another at Christmas with a note written in a Christmas card. The last card I sent came back with her new address but never received one from her this past Christmas. Please accept our sincere condolences. Our prayers go out to your entire family. So sorry for your loss, will keep your family in prayer for peace.  I didn’t know your Mom but in reading her joyous obit wish that I had that honor.. You presented her absolute humanity & I am greatful for her service to our country.  I too am an RN & appreciate her continued service in the Reserves.  She embued her family with a wonderful sense of humor & warmth. It was heart warming to read her obit, especially in this stressful time of Covid-19.  ‘Sucker Lady’ is making Heaven a place of even More peace, joy & laughter.  God bless  you all & thank you for encapsulating Mom’s joy in family & life & continuing her legacy of joy.

Kristin and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Though I never got to meet Kathy, I did get to ride in her beloved Lexus one time, which I feel like has to count for something, right?! I loved getting to know her through all of the stories I heard over the years, and I empathized with her from a distance whenever Kristin got up to something crazy.
May we all be so lucky to live lives immersed in laughter and love.

Please accept my loss for your beautiful Mom.  She has had the same fun dysfunctional life that I have.  I know she loved you with all her heart and soul.  She reminds me so much of how I am living with my family.  She raised her children to be sensitive, loving and with a great sense of humor.  Your loss is unimaginable and I know she will be missed by all who knew her I only wish I had known her.

How do you tell a family that has just lost a beloved Mom and Family member that her obituary brought smiles to so many of us ? Times are so bad — we are all on lockdown– so many phone calls –what did you see on TV etc. — This day there was something that brought a happy chuckel ” did you see the obit in the courier ” and for those that did not get the paper it was passed on by word ! Mom must have been So loved for someone to create this wonderful obituary ! In your pain you brought laughter to so many strangers ! Heartbreak , Sorrow , Prayers ! Bless everyone of you !

Loved your mum and enjoyed every visit we shared with her, from dinners at ours and yours to carrying her — like the queen that she was — on a makeshift palanquin down onto the beach in NJ.
