Condolences to the Family

Dear David and family,
We are grateful for a long-time friendship with your mom.  She was a Penn State classmate of my mom, Garnett LeVan DeHart.  Mom didn’t have a personal faith in Christ then, but Julia spoke to her of her own faith.  When mom heard the good news of Jesus, and trusted him, her friendship with Julia was even stronger!  Mom and Dad became missionaries, and Julia became a supporter.  We have been recipients of her generosity and prayers, and we have considered her as part of our family. We visited Julia in April this year, while she was in health care. I remember her saying, “I can’t do much, but I can be grateful and cheerful.”
Julia was at our wedding reception in 2000.  She wrote, “It’s a pleasure to meet Margaret–we’ll have to wait for memories to be created.”
The angels are rejoicing at Julia’s homecoming, and her loving Father is saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”  May God’s comfort surround you who feel her loss so closely.
Joel and Margaret DeHart

Dear Family, my name is Celeste Dinkins. I live in SC and my family met Julia at Ambassador Camp , Lake Waccamaw , NC. My Mother, my sisters and I worked alongside Julia at the camp for many years. My children were blessed to be guided by her in arts and crafts with her sweet spirit and sense of humor. She was so kind to my Mother who would have been 94 this year also. Her faith was lived out in her servant life and we will always be thankful for the blessing of knowing her.

Dear Dave and Mary Alice and family,  my condolences in the death of your mother.  You and I shared the pleasure of being children of a home economics teacher named Mrs. Fyock.  Although I never met her, I recall hearing good things about her from a mutual friend who hosted her on their travel tours. Blessings to you,  Joan Fyock Norris
