Juan Torres, 62, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital.
Juan was born in New York to Maria Hortencia (Vazquez) Torres and the late Iraldy Torres Irizarry. He grew up surrounded by the love of his family, including his brother, Esequiel “Zeke” Torres, who survives him.
Juan was a member of San Juan Batista Catholic Church, where he found spiritual guidance and community. Known for his joyful spirit, Juan enjoyed dancing and had a playful sense of humor, often delighting others with his jokes. He had a passion for travel and frequently visited family in Connecticut. However, above all else, Juan cherished the time spent with his loved ones, finding immense joy in their company.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, April 22, 2024, at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, 425 S. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10 AM until the time of the service. Following the Mass, interment will take place at Conestoga Memorial Park.
Juan’s life was marked by love, laughter, and a deep connection with his family and community. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
