Condolences to the Family

July 24, 2023

I just read, at this late date, of Joe passing away. My condolences to his family. We were good friends when we lived at Fern Brook Circle in East Lampeter Township, PA. We went to Conestoga Valley High School together until I moved to Allentown in 1961. We had good times together. Corky Molloy, Chambersburg, Pa.

To all of Joe and Martha Smiths extended familly:
We were saddened to hear of Joes sudden passing last week and wish to extend our condolences to you all. We got to know Joe well over the last almost 30 years being nearby neighbors through the many encounters we had the pleasure to have with them ‘walking our dogs’ in the neighborhood and the many many long and interesting chats we had along the way. Joe was always amazingly friendly and happy to see us every time we saw him. Rest in peace Joe! We will meet again someday and continue those memorable conversations together 🙂

Martha and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I will truly miss seeing both of you. It was always a good day when you would bring Maddie to the vet and we got to visit. I will always remember the fun we had when you brought Maddie to training classes. Joseph was a special person! I will keep you in my thoughts Martha.

I was blessed to know Joe for a short time. I truly would have loved to have known him longer. He was one of the few good and honest people you get to meet in your life time. I was so in awe of how noble and self sacrificing he was in the taking care of Martha. R.I.P Joe, I will truly miss our visits and conversations.
