Joseph C. Dennison, 82
Joseph C. Dennison, 82, of Cabbage Hill, Lancaster City, passed away November 12, 2012 at The Glen at Willow Valley Retirement Community. Born in Weston, WA, Joe was the son of the late Floyd and Emily F. (Fisher) Dennison.
He is survived by his loving wife, E. Lucille Adams.
He was a truck driver for Colonial Metals for 40 years and also operated Dennison’s Pony Rides at his farm in Millersville. He was a member of Cox’s Mills Baptist Church in WV, and a member of Moose Lodge #307 (Chickies Rock).
He enjoyed riding his horses and visiting the West Virginia countryside, and racing his stock car #43.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are three nephews, Randy, Gregory, and Paul Schwarz, all of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores S. “Honey” (Schwarz) Dennison.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Viewings will be held at the funeral home Friday evening from 7-9PM and also Saturday from 10-11AM. Interment will take place in Conestoga Memorial Park.
