Joseph A. Knight, Sr., 64

Joseph A. Knight, Sr., age 64, of Washington Boro, passed away unexpectedly at the family farm on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Born in Columbia, Joe was the son of Arthur W. and Patricia E. Knight.

Joe was a graduate of Penn Manor High School class of 1978. He worked and retired from YRC, formally known as Yellow Freight. He was a skilled wood worker, making unique furniture pieces. In addition to being a craftsman, he enjoyed arrowhead hunting, archery and rifle hunting, assisting on the family farm and fishing.

Joe is survived by his children: Joseph A. Knight, Jr (husband of Kerrianne), of New Providence and Amber L. Knight Zink (companion of Miguel Margarito), of Washington Boro; his grandchildren: Mackenzie, Dakota, Noah, Isabella, Paiton, Joseph and Makala Knight, Anthony and James Zink and Linette Margarito; his mother Patricia E. Knight of Conestoga; his sisters: Deborah Knight Willwerth, wife of J. Douglas, of Lancaster; Karen K. Knight Houston, wife of O. William, of Conestoga; and Elaine Marie Knight Graybill, wife of Herbert H of New Providence, his uncle Stanley Knight, Sr. of Washington Boro and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father Arthur, Joe is preceded in death by his brother Clair W. Knight.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA 17551. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 10AM to 11AM. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
