Jordan E. “JT” Teal, 35
March 10, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jordan E. “JT” Teal, age 35, of York, who bravely fought esophageal cancer and left us to be with his Heavenly Father on March 10, 2025. He was surrounded by his family and friends.
Born in Hanover, he was the cherished son of Jonathan Teal (Vickie) and Linda Barrett Arnold (Edward). A proud graduate of Dover High School, he pursued his interests at vocational school and loved his job at Pink Recycling.
JT was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, and he embraced the sneaker head title with his amazing collection of retro Jordans. He was known for his selflessness, unwavering strength, and courage, often placing the needs of others before his own. Jordan faced his battle with cancer with remarkable dignity and grace, always striving to shield his loved ones from his pain.
Being a natural comic and life of the party made him a favorite uncle, while also being an amazing father figure to his kids. JT was a reliable source of support and joy to all who knew him. His laughter and kindness will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, Jordan is survived by his loving fiancée, Courtnie Cornish, and her children: Mario, Camylah, and Cataleyah. He is also survived by five siblings: Inga Teal, Jessica Smith (Stephan), Anthony Arnold, Carrie Van Name (Nathan), and Leigh Senft (Denton); as well as numerous nieces and nephews: Stephan, Jazlyn, Joie, Ana, Adalyn, Averie, Aspyn, Ellison, and Daxton; and his beloved dog, Nova. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Patricia Zeigler.
A celebration of Jordan’s life will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 12 PM at Genesis Church, located at 1405 Seven Valleys Road, York, PA 17408. The family will welcome guests for a viewing before the service starting at 10:30 AM. The funeral will be followed by interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jordan’s memory at (https://everloved.com/life-of/jordan-teal/). In true JT fashion, attendees are encouraged to wear something green or Eagles-themed and your favorite pair of kicks to honor his memory.
Jordan’s impact on our lives will always be cherished, and his legacy will forever live in our hearts.
