John L. Hull, 61

John L. Hull, 61, of Lancaster, died on June 1, 2007 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center after a battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Harry E. and Mae Warfel Hull. He was the husband of Donna J. (Bell) Hull and they had celebrated 44 years of marriage on April 6.

Mr. Hull was employed for 42 years at National Bearings, Co. retiring from the Purchasing Dept. Before moving to the office, he was a foreman in the Screw machine Dept. John was a member of the 8^th Ward Club and he enjoyed the fellowship with members there. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan for many years. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and his family. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Millersville.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Lisa L., married to John W. Whitehead III, of Lancaster, and Denise M. Hull of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Natalie, Allison and Andrew; and a brother, Richard D. Hull, married to Helen of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ethel Fickes, Janice Metzger, and Mary Hull, and one brother, Henry Hull.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, at 11AM. Friends may be received from 9AM until the time of service. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
