I cry because I know I will no longer know John in a physical sense. When we play I will think of him beside us.
My heart goes out to Dixie and Gentry and the rest of the Smith family.
John is now playing for eternity.

To the Smith and Stoltzfus families, I would like to send my deepest sympathy. Walking with Marti, I got to hear many fond memories of her mom and dad. I love hearing her talk about the music, his sense of humor, his love of planes, too many things to mention.
My thoughts and prayers to you all as you celebrate his life.
