John also sang in the church’s funeral choir. He loved Polka music and was a member of the Dutchland Polkateers. John enjoyed teaching Polka dancing to the children in the Catholic schools. John was also an avid baseball and football fan and especially loved the Phillies and Eagles.

Gressley, wife of Robert, of Mountville; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; an aunt, Dorothy Mueller; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dear Kathy and Patty,
We extend our deepest sympathy to you both on the recent loss of your dad.  Jack was a very good man, who was always willing to help others.  I can remember many good times, from the time I was little, with our families.  They went Polka dancing together sometimes, had picnics, and got together at each others homes.  Please extend our sympathy to Stephanie and Christopher, also.

Dearest Kathy,  I am so very sorry about the loss of your Dad.  I remember him as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary’s.  He was always a very kind man.  I will be praying for you and your family as you go through this difficult time.

He was a good man.  He and your mom shared a good friendship with my parents and together they all shared a love of St. Mary’s.  Earlier this year we lost my mom, and as we were going thru pictures for her memorial, we found old pictures of Jack and my dad dressed in drag for a St. Mary’s mothers club fashion show.  Oh they how they had a good time!  Keep the good memories and may they bring a smile to your face.  Please know that we share your grief.  With sincere sympathy.
