Please accept my condolences on John passing. I was privileged to learn to know John while working at Manheim Auto Auction. As a retiree of Intell Printing, I learned alot about the years John spent working for the Steinman Family. John had mant stories to tell about his employment. I enjoyed the visit he made to me while was working at Roots (for MAA parking) this summer. I will miss our talks and his smile. My prayers are with you.

Though I had not stayed in contact with John until recently, I always remembered him from our Army days, because he was a gentleman who never seemed to meet anyone he didn’t already know.
He always had a good word about everyone, and the few others from those times, with whom I managed to stay in touch always spoke highly of him as well. Rest easy, John, and hopefully we’ll all meet at muster again some day.

Dear Sallie,

Our sympathy is with you at this time of sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Love,
Ken & Margaret

Remembering you in your time of loss, may peace that comes only from above be there to comfort you in the days ahead…

Love You

Dear Sallie and family,

May you know that you are surrounded by many prayers of people who love you. We lift you to the throne of grace where you will find comfort and help in your time of need. Though working with you Sallie for many years I never met your husband/father but heard about what a wonderful man he was. He’s left a bright impact on a dark world. Keep the memories alive in your children and grandchildren. Deut. 33:27, The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.

Linda

Lonnie,
Myself and your library family are thinking of you.
May your memories sustain you.
Jan (Nere-Minter)

John was one of the best Sunday School teachers we ever had. We’ll always remember him for that and for his being a very likable guy who would do anything to help someone whether friend or stranger. He’ll be missed by all who knew and loved him. May God be with Sallie at this very sad time.
