John A. Kuster, 84
John A. Kuster, 84, of Peony Rd. Lancaster, died Friday, April 20, 2007, at Lancashire Hall.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Brunislaw and Mary Zomlinsky Kuster. He was the husband of Catherine M. Droney Kuster.
John was a molder for 25 years at Pennsylvania Malleable and then later at Landis Electric for 5 years before retiring. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a medic and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching football and boxing on TV. He loved his family especially spending time with his grandchildren. John loved to tell jokes to see people smile.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons: Richard T. Kuster, husband of the late Jeanne Kuster, and Patrick M. Kuster, both of Lancaster; 7 Grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Murr of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a son, John J. Kuster in 1996 and his siblings, Pauline Nowicki, Jo Pulley, William Kuster, Catherine Harmes Kuster, Jean Jacobs Cleaver, Nelda Saunders, and Ginny Young.
Funeral services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster on Friday at 1PM. Friends may be received at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of service. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
