Joan R. Hoehn, 71

Joan R. "Cookie" Hoehn, 71, of Denver formerly of East Petersburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 7, 2008 at Essa Flory Hospice Center.  She was the wife of the late Harry Hoehn and the daughter of the late Raymond I. and Marjorie Frederick Keller. Joan was a homemaker, who enjoyed reading, canning vegetables and spending time with her granddaughters.

Surviving is a son, Stephen R. husband of Kathy Hoehn with whom she resided, and two granddaughters; Chelsie and Cara Hoehn both at home. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie E. (Ginger) Hoffman, who died December of 2007. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Riverview Burial Park, South Duke Street, Lancaster, on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 1:00PM. Contributions may be made in Joan’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, Pa. 17604. Arrangement made by the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home.
