What a privilege to work with Jill at QVC. She always had a great smile and warm friendly approach to people. It was evident she had a wonderful relationship with Jesus you could see him inherit kindness, her love for her family and her strength during this battle. She never gave up always kept her hope and trust in God. Now she is in his house continuing her eternal journey. This is what every Christian is looking forward to May it bring you comfort to know her journey end in victory. We will see her again meanwhile the people she loved and crossed paths with are blessed and thankful for her impact of encouragement, love and laughter. I will continue to pray for Family that all that she was to you will continue to continue to comfort you with sweet peace.   Sincerely

I worked with Jill at LGH. She always had a smile for everyone, even through her struggle with the horrible disease. I, too, lost my Mother to it, so I know the pain. Please believe that she will always be with you in spirit. Callie, she gave birth to you, so you are a part of her and you will always have a piece of her soul mixed with yours. Her body is gone, but her Spirit Lives on. A true Mother’s Love for her child never fades even in death. Give it power through your love for her.  When you miss her the most, wrap your arms around yourself, close your eyes and visualize her. She will be there with her arms around you. GOD Bless you, Steve and Callie.

I met Jill many years ago. Our husbands worked together and played softball together. I remember them playing ball on this field that was on this big farm. Jill and I would sit on the sidelines and “watch”. Actually, we talked and laughed and laughed and laughed some more. Unfortunately, we would lose touch over the years. Fast forward to many years later and our paths would cross again as Jill was in one of my training classes at QVC. The laughter would ensue again as we caught up on eachother’s lives. I think that week I saw every picture ever taken of Steve and Callie. She was such a proud mom and wife. Her face would light up every time she mentioned their names. She will definitely be missed by all. She was a beautiful person with a smile that brightened everyone’s day. My thoughts and prayers go out to Steve, Callie, and the rest of the family. God bless.

Dear Steve, Callie, Tom, Carol, Tommy, and Lee:   Being neighbors to Jill while she and her brothers were  growing up with our boys, we always knew Jill was special.  Now, reading all these wonderful tributes have solidified the fact that she was a gem.  Our hearts are breaking for you in this huge loss, especially at Christmas, and we will continue to pray for you as we did daily during 2019.  We so desired that God would work a miracle, but we know she is now totally healed and enjoying Heaven.

I’ve been a friend of Steve’s since kindergarten.been through alot of times.growing up ,crazy play days, learning to drive, dating, parties, work, man the stories that still go around are hard to keep up with. But the light in him when he met jill was so noticeable.over the years they grew and dealt with some pregnancy issues until finally being blessed with a baby girl,Callie.unfortunately as usually happens when raising kids and a family,we didn’t get together near as much, and I regret that because steve and jill were an amazing couple.and their pride of their daughter Callie was so evident.she has alot of the strength of jill and some of the edgy side of steve.i was blessed to share life with them and struggle with feelings of their loss.you are all awesome, and we will forever miss jill and pray for your healing, including the amazing  Matroni family.love you all. One of the things that helped me with my father’s passing was reading about memories.  So, I share this with you…
The first time spending time with Jill, we were at a class party for our girls’ class.  Somehow Jill and I drew the short straw and ended up with the colored glue and glitter group for a craft.  We were constantly concerned with one child flinging their paint brush of glue and glitter around as they talked with their hands.  After a re-load of glitter and glue this little peanut worked diligently, we figured we were almost home free, until she got startled by the student behind her.  Jill and I got sparkly slimed.  I was better off, as I raised my eyes from my shirt and arm.  Poor Jill got it across her eye and in her hair.  We just howled laughing.  I knew then that she was my kind of person!  We haven’t spent much time together over the years, but Jill made an impact with her friendship and joy…and glue glitter hair😉👍 Her hair was spectacular!

When I think of Jill, I think about her smile and how she always made me feel like I was the most important person she was talking to.  My life was better because Jill was in it.  I will definitely miss seeing her sitting on her swing when I was walking my dog and the time I had to pray with her.  I know that she loved Jesus. It brings me great joy knowing that she is alive and well with Jesus and I will definitely be seeing her again!  Praying for peace and comfort for Steve, Callie and the rest of her family!  May your memories of how kind, loving and encouraging she was to everyone sustain you until you are reunited!
