Jessie enjoyed listening to music, especially performances by Tom Jones and Train, and her favorite television programs included soap operas, talk shows, Philadelphia Phillies games and anything hosted by Regis Philbin.
Between her cherished phone conversations with family members, and sips of Lipton tea and Coca-Cola, Jessie prayed the rosary and completed crossword puzzles. She was also fond of cats and admired the color purple.

She was preceded in death by a brother, William Covert, two sisters, Mildred Lane and Mary Louise Pauza, and a granddaughter, Holly Beth Sagerer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 7, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster with the Rev. Allan F. Wolfe as Celebrant.
