He had a beautiful heart and could make the best out of even the worst situation. May God be with everyone he touched during this time of mourning.

I worked with Jeremy at Richter. He would bring a big bag of cookies for the whole shift to enjoy on Fridays. He was that kind of guy— very decent and generous. Condolences to the family. Rest in peace, Jeremy.

I worked with Jeremy for many years. Enjoyed talking to him about a book he was reading or have read. Enjoyed the fun conversations with him and Scooter before he would leave after working third shift. He was a great guy who laughed a lot he will be missed.

I will really miss Jeremy. We’ve worked together for the past 12 years, or so, keeping each other company on those long night shifts. We had plenty of laughs, and shared some personal conversations over those years. I comforted him when his father died, and he comforted me when my mother died. He heightened my awareness the problem of human trafficking. One fun fact about Jeremy was that for a long time he would buy 3-4 dozen GOOD cookies from the Lancaster market and leave them in the lunchroom for everyone. I loved the stories Jeremy would tell of the many times he would go to NJ just for his White Castle ‘fix’, or his trips to Ohio for some Skyline Chili.
I was honored to visit him at his “folks” home in the last few weeks. It was tough to see him so sick, but even then, we shared some laughs. The last thing I did with Jeremy was watch his Steelers lose to the Ravens. The day after he passed, I, with a lump in my throat, watched the Steelers best my team. (Chargers) he would have thought that funny.
Thanks to Dwight and Lynn for allowing me to visit Jeremy under such private and personal times. My family’s prayers are that you can find the peace of God through this, and to remember that He is always good.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your son. We still remember Jeremy ushering at Speedwell church many years ago as a boy/not sure if he was a teenager yet or not. But, we were always amazed by Jeremy’s kind, gentle spirit. He was just himself, no “putting on”, as so many young people try to do. Our prayers are with you as you walk this journey of grief. We know how hard it is (it will be 1 year next month since we loss Nate), you never get over the loss of a son, you just get through. Sending hugs and many prayers,
