Sincere sympathy to all.  My husband John and I were classmates and friends of Jere, and I was privileged to have Delorous and Phyllis for Y-Teen leaders.  I know Jere will be missed by many.

Dear John and Diane, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Jere, and unfortunately, due to the distance and short notice we will not be able to make it to the celebration of his life and interment scheduled for tomorrow. Our thoughts and prayers however are wth you. I want you to know that I always enjoyed your father. He had such strong opinions and alternative ways of thinking that were of interest to me and worthy of consideration. As a child I remember him always to be full of life and fun to play with, and I always looked forward to receiving his “neat” Christmas gifts. I even remember Uncle Jere being able to make my own daughter Emily as a baby laugh with glee. He just had that way about him! I am so sorry for our loss. With much sympathy, Bob and Maria Sherrard
