Jeffrey James Bunting, 66

Jeffrey James “Jeff” Bunting, 66, of Willow Street, passed away on March 23, 2024. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late James and Elva (Groff) Bunting.
Jeff was a 1976 graduate of Manheim Township High School. He worked in the maintenance department for the Strasburg Railroad. Jeff enjoyed fishing, reading, antiquing, was an avid baseball and Phillies fan, and was known for his unique sense of humor. He loved spending time with his family and his beloved cat, Tif.
Jeff is survived by his two siblings: Bonnie M. Leed (James) and Richard Bunting (Denise); 6 nieces, 2 nephews, and 12 great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Howard Bunting.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Jeff’s memory to American Kidney Fund, kidneyfund.org.

Worked with Jeff at Willow Valley for many years!!! Enjoyed many conversations with him in our “free time”! Enjoyed talking about the Phillies with him! Rest in Peace now, Jeff.

Jeff Bunting was a good man I knew him since 1976 he was a good warrior he had to fight many battles in his life some longer than most people could endure but he stayed strong and stood on both 2 feet where most people would have drop to there knees MAY GOD BE WITH JEFF BUNTING WHO IS SURROUNDED BY ANGELS.
