Jeannine D. Smith, 91

Jeannine D. (Kinchen) Smith, 91, of Lititz, formerly of El Paso, TX. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Rowan) and Ray Kinchen. She was the loving wife to the late Benjamin Franklin “Frank” Smith.
Jeannine was a member of Scottsdale Baptist Church in El Paso, TX prior to moving to Lititz. She graduated in 1977 from the University of Texas El Paso with her Masters degree in Elementary Education. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. Jeannine was a talented poet, enjoyed making crafts and adored her pet dogs. Most of all, Jeannine cherished spending time with her family.
Jeannine is survived by her children: Sandra May of Lititz, Franklin C. Smith, husband of Armenia of Rockwall, TX and Michael W. Smith, husband of Carole of Woodberry, NJ; 7 grandchildren: Lynn Firey, Jennifer Nelson, Lance Smith, Blair Smith, Nicole Clay, Jason Smith, and Melissa Kilgore; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 sisters Patricia Downing of Cheyno, CA as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister: Grace Holden and Elizabeth Avent.
