Jeanne R. Danz Staffieri, 79

Jeanne R. Danz Staffieri, 79, wife of the late Louis J. Staffieri, Jr., entered into rest on Thursday, March 27th surrounded by her loving family. Jeanne was the daughter of the late Norbert P. Danz and Ruth M. Lynch Danz.
Jeanne and Lou are survived by their six children: Louis J. Staffieri, III, husband of Lori Oettle Staffieri, Dino M. Staffieri, Fiancee’ of Debra Hay, Theresa J. Hilken, wife of Ralph Hilken, Lisa S. Brenner, wife of Andrew Brenner, Tina S. Meckley, wife of Ronald Meckley, Anthony N. Staffieri, husband of Michelle Rankin Staffieri. The outcome of this couples’ love not only produced 6 children, but they have 24 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren. Jeanne is survived by three brothers, Norbert E. Danz, husband of Dolores Good Danz, Kenneth P. Danz, husband of Ann King Danz, and Richard L. Danz, companion Loretta Delaney. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret M. Danz Gallagher and brother, Joseph A. Danz. Jeanne was blessed with many nieces and nephews who enjoyed their Aunt’s infectious spirit and sense of fun. Mom/ Jeanne / Sis will be missed by all, her family is comforted by the knowledge that she is now with the love of her life as we are mourning our loss.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster, PA 17603. A viewing from 9:30-11 AM will take place at the church. Interment will be at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster, PA. Flowers are welcomed, or contributions may be made in Jeanne’s memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
