Janel R. Noll, 55

Janel R. Noll, 55, of Lancaster, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Johns Hopkins University Hospital, Baltimore, MD.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Herman C. and Patsy J. Bryson Ruof.  Jan and her husband Lance D. Noll celebrated their thirty-first wedding anniversary on May 23, 2007. 

Jan was employed for seven years as a Unit Facilitator for Couplet Care, in the birthing unit at Women and Babies Hospital of Lancaster General.  She was formerly employed for 15 years in the Day Surgery Dept. at St. Joseph Hospital. 

A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, she enjoyed going to the beaches of Ocean City, MD, swimming, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Sara Rose.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, David C. Noll, husband of Heather M. of Lancaster, and Adam P. Noll, at home; granddaughter, Sara Rose Noll; brother, K. Randal Ruof, husband of Holly I. of Lancaster; and nieces, Madalyn M. Ruof, and Lisa Shultz, wife of Robert, of Lancaster.  Jan was preceded in death by a brother, T. Douglas Ruof.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 7:30 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing and to pay their respects to Jan’s family from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jan’s memory to Milagro House, 669 W. Chestnut St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
