Condolences to the Family

Dear Sally and family,
We just saw in the CU alumni magazine that Jim had passed away.   We met Jim when we were all students at CU in Aero classes.  It was so nice to see him again and meet you at TPS at Edwards.  Jim was such a great guy.  A wonderful mentor and friend.  It was a shock to our hearts to hear of his passing.  May God grant him eternal rest.
A few weeks ago our daughter, Sister Rachael,  sent us a picture of that had been Sister Agnes’  and that the historian of the Sacred Heart Sisters was trying to identify.  It was a picture of Jim with Sister Agnes, George Gagnon, Bill Sheppard, and a few other K of C’s at Edwards.  Jim had his usual easy going smile on his face.  This is how we’ll always remember him.  I’ll let Sister Rachael know of his passing and ask for prayers from the Sisters for him and for all of you.
We offer our sincere condolences to you and your family.   What a hole in your lives his passing will have made.  In Christ’s love, Gina and Dan Gleason

Jim will be missed for his kind, neighborly ways. I met Jim & Sally regularly walking our dogs in the neighborhood and it was always nice to catch up for a minute. Our yards are next to each other and if there were any issues, trees, storms, flooding, etc., Jim would keep us updated, “just wanted you to know.” Prayers to you and your family. May your memories warm your heart and keep Jim close.

We lost a great man! Jim was truly a dedicated Catholic who was always involved. He was one of the first to arrive and last to leave on our Sunday masses. He was a chior member and even took time to place all of the missal books back into the shelf when everyone else had left. He was a great champion of the PreBorn and advocated against the horrors of legalized abortion, he was a family man, a Catholic man, a Knight of Columbus and all around kind caring approachable friend.  Our sincere condolences to his family.  We will miss him and remember him at the altar of the Lord.

Jim was a beloved neighbor to us and we were so sad to know that he passed.  He helped us build our swingset that we happily shared with his grandchildren when it was finished.  The building of the swingset and the frequent visits to our yard from their dog, Nelson, gave us a chance to get to know Jim and Sally and their lovely family.  Their daughter even got engaged in our grove of trees in our front yard.  We admire Jim and his family and feel he has left us all too soon.  We are praying for this very special and strong family during this time.

As a Brother Knight of Columbus with Jim, I was always impressed with his knowledge and activisim in the Right to Life programs. Jim was also responsible for introducing our council to the Eurchartist Miracles of the World display. This presentation became his ministry in securing funds for the purchase, promoting and scheduling presentations throughout the diocese which were viewed by thousands over the years.
My prayers and sympathy are with the family. Jim was truly a special person and he will be missed.

So sad to hear Jim’s passing.  Only met him a couple of times but already could tell what a special and loving man he was.  Our prayers are with the family.
