I have been trying to get a holed of Jim for a couple of weeks and I told my daughter I said something’s not right so her would be an FBI look it up and and said Mr Krous passed away. I said oh my God I am so sorry so sorry what a lovely man he did an engine for me about three years ago wonderful person. I also have a place in Lancaster Pennsylvania. I told Jim to take his family there if he wanted to use the house, he said one day. My name is Rich Desano by the way

Greatly saddened to read of Jim’s passing. Best friends for a few years from age 17 to 21 or so. Many many memories, all of which still make me smile. Roughly 20 years ago we crossed paths for the last time at the UPS terminal. Not sure we even spoke – just looked at each other and cracked up. We were both lucky we survived our very wild youth and we both knew it simultaeneously.
Condolences to his family. A good guy is gone but he led his life on his terms.
And yes, the next tree I plant will be forever in his memory.

Jim was an amazing upholster. He made a custom interior for my 1947 Ford. My Father did the body and paint work on his Impala SS. Jim was a good man.

I’ll certainly be missing the little chats Uncle Jim and I would have. And all the rides in his cool cars. As well as those entrusted to his skilled hands. Keep on Cruisin Uncle Jim. Sending big hugs to his family and mine.
