James F. “Jim” Fuss, 84

James F. “Jim” Fuss, 84, of Lancaster died on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Carl Whitmer and Clara C. Hiemenz Fuss. James was the husband of the late Pauline L. Sangrey Fuss, and they observed 60 years of marriage before her passing this past January. Jim worked for Carl W. Fuss Co., McCory’s Stores and retired from The Greater A & P Store as a supervisor of the Metro Group in 2001. A Veteran, Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea from 1960-1961. He was a hardworking man with quite the character who enjoyed woodworking, target practice and watching John Wayne Movies.
Jim is survived by two daughters, Michele A. Williams wife of Daniel and Dawn Caterbone; five grandchildren, Brenna M., Benjamin M., Braden M. Williams, Chase C., and Connor J. Caterbone; two great-grandchildren, Ivy G. Caterbone, Carter John Caterbone and a sister, Jean M. He was preceded in death by his son, James E. Fuss and three siblings.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jim’s graveside service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 600 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003 on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
