I remember "Uncle Jim" as a loving husband and devoted father to his five children. Such memories of working with him and his family in the tobacco fields. God blessed you and continues to do so.

With condolences,

Peggy Buckwalter Deihm

Jim was symbolic of the strong, quiet Lancaster County farmer who did more than raise a fine, loving family. He had the vision to help take Lancaster County from the 40’s well into the 21st century with his leadership and energy to properly develop the land into a prosperous area of homes and businesses that will make all of our lives better. Whatever he did was tasteful.

Jim made his family proud and they made him proud.

With deepest sympathy,

Ron and Dee Smith
